Yoga found its way in to my waking life during my undergraduate work in Flagstaff, AZ.
Maybe it was yoga, maybe it was living at 7000ft or maybe it was the undergrad lifestyle, but none the less, I learned what commitment and connection to myself felt like. In learning to commit to myself I started to sense the foundation of connection and its importance in health. A wealth of connection crossed my path when I met Julie Rader, who is now a mainstay inspiration and dear friend in my life. From Julie, I have learned the power in recognizing that “love is the highest vibration.” This, above all formal training, has been my best guide. I have had numerous privileged opportunities to refine my asana and meditation practice with other senior yoga instructors. I have a Bachelor’s in Social Psychology, a Masters in Integral Psychology & 13 years of formal yoga teacher training. I am also a mother of two, Isaac MJ, a firey kindergartener & Ila Kay, 5 months fresh baby skin. With two hands together & a deep bow, I honor those teachers that have most influenced my living: Tias Little, Erich Schiffman, Baba Hari Dass, Julie Rader, Adi Amar & Shaney Aalbers…. and Sam Robinette, who has seen all my colors, still loves me and gives me continual opportunity to let go.
