This practice refers to a set physical postures (asana) designed to align your skin, muscles, bones and energy channels-especially the main channel, the spine. In this practice we hold postures for 3 to 5 breathes, allowing time for our physical and energetic bodies to unfold. This is a path towards creating balance and uniting opposites. In our physical body we learn the balance between strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose.
