Our studio has been open for almost 4 years, offering yoga sessions to our neighbors and visitors to Hawaii's Big Island. Our attentive instructors have been trained by some of the world's masters and want to share their passion of Yoga to you. Learn more about our instructors:

SaiFon Woozley

Owner & Instructor

SaiFon has been practicing yoga for 16 years and teaching for 6 years. With many trainings under her belt, SaiFon has studied Yoga from several of the world's masters including Adhil Pakhivala to John Friend, Baron Baptiste and much more. SaiFon never wanted to be an instructor, it just fell into her lap as a gift. She doesn't consider herself a teacher, but "A facilitator for people to have a sacred place to really find their true authentic self through breath and posture". Her Yoga Hale studio, located in Kona on Hawaii's Big Island, has been open for almost 4 years. "Surfing is an ongoing learning experience as yoga is. Kathleen Stenson

Instructor

A student of yoga for 13 years and a teacher for 7, Kathleen’s teaching reflects a studied blend of hatha yoga, pranayama, yoga therapeutics and classical and tantric yoga philosophy and meditation. She has extensively studied with several of the world’s masters, including Baron Baptiste, David Life, John Friend, Rodney Yee, Annie Carpenter, Gurmuk and religion professor Dr. Douglas Brooks. Kathleen is known for her life affirming and philosophical teaching style. It is her deepest desire to inspire as many people as possibly to join the path of freedom through the practice of yoga. Kathleen balances creative sequencing with dynamic holds for a balanced and invigorating practice.

Chelsea Welch

Instructor

Julie Radar - InstructorChelsea Welch completed the 300 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training - Mukti Course with Julie Rader.

Her teaching style involves both invigorating yet grounding asanas, which creatively flow from the fire and earth elements of her personality.

Chelsea lives for the outdoors, travel, and the yogi lifestyle. She has a great passion for pranyama techniques, meditation, and chakra awareness.

Julie Radar

Julie Radar - InstructorJulie Rader’s teaching style includes a blend of vinyasa flow, tantric meditations, tai chi, and kundalini. She has a BA in Psychology and Exercise Science and a MS in Physiology of Exercise. Julie found yoga and meditation gave her the edge to become an All-American springboard diver. Julie is certified under Shakti from the Prana Yoga and Zen center in Vancouver, Canada and Shiva Rea in Venice Beach, California. Julie continues to learn from master teachers all around the world. She spent three months at an ashram in Sweden learning Kriya yoga, deep tantric meditations, and yoga nidra meditation under Swami Janakanada, from the Bihar school of Yoga philosophy. During this time 33 days were spent without talking, reading or writing. Julie also taught yoga and learned tai chi in China. Julie owned and managed Mukti Yoga Studio in Manhattan Beach, California for 3 years. She is now focusing on leading yoga teacher trainings, and retreats as well as teaching yoga to professional athletes and corporations.
